After my job left me in 2023, I didn’t know what I wanted to do next. For weeks I was doomscrolling LinkedIn, searching for my next corporate role. I felt hollow inside.
“Is this really what I want at age 48?” I asked myself.
Then one afternoon, the universe answered. I received two unexpected messages from junior colleagues in Manila and Jakarta. Different people, same message.
“Thank you for believing in me. When I didn’t believe in myself.”
That was the moment I realised I could help someone trust themselves again.
That’s why I do this work.
I’m Michael Foo — ICF-credentialed coach, positive psychology practitioner, and workplace resilience trainer. Beyond the credentials, I’ve lived what I teach. I built the #ICAN Framework because setbacks and self-doubt keep showing up in life. The real question is: can you still trust yourself when it matters most?
